Borderfest
Each summer, Emmons celebrates its location on the Minnesota/Iowa border with Emmons Borderfest. Emmons Borderfest consists of a weekend filled with nightly street dances, live entertainment, a parade, a car/motorcycle show & cruise, and more. The Borderfest crowd often numbers around 1200 people. Emmons has welcomed national country recording artists such as Jimmy Wayne ("Paper Angels" and "You Are") and Rachel Proctor ("Me and Emily" and "Days Like This"). Past entertainment has also included the famous Johnny Holm Band, Vic Ferrari, The Rockin' Hollywoods, Lucky Town, The Circuit Breakers, and Bad Monkey. Borderfest 2012 will be held June 29 & 30th.

8:30pm - Street Dance in downtown featuring "SHAG"
Saturday June 30, 2012
10:30am - Parade
11:15am - Kiddie Parade
11:30am - 1 hour show in downtown by "Sheltered Reality"
12:30pm to ? -Kids Pedal Pull
Noon to 3:00pm - Car show with Cruise to Follow
1:00pm - ATV Mudbog
2:00pm to 4:00pm - Bovine Bingo
2:30pm to 6:30pm - music by Dunnel Lenort
4:30pm to 7:00pm - Pork Chop Supper
8:30pm - Street Dance in downtown featuring The Johnny Holm Band
